Winners of CAG's third annual Edible Book Fair - 5.10.17
CAG held its third annual Edible Book Fair on 5.8.17. Creative students and staff signed up to represent a favorite book with food. Entries varied from intricately decorated cupcakes and cakes to bagels and fries.
The four judges for the competition were Mrs. Charlotte Strange – CAG parent and Chick-fil-a representative, Mrs. Lynn Humphries – community member and owner of Sugar Shack bakery, and Mrs. Shelia Smith and Pam Heidelberg – CAG staff members. In addition to the four set categories for competition, a People’s Choice Award was also given. Students and staff floated through the media center to vote throughout the day on their favorite book representation. Awards were announced during seventh period with bonus door prizes courtesy of Chick-fil-a. Students celebrated their accomplishments with trophies, ribbons, and a Charlotte’s Web cake.
