Working on Shakespearean Sonnets in Mrs. McCoy's Class -- 1.26.17

Students in Mrs. Mendy McCoy's literature classes are working on sonnets as part of a unit focusing on the works of Shakespeare. Sonnets are fourteen line poems with ten syllables per line and a structured rhyming scheme. The Chromebooks in Mrs. McCoy's room allowed students to use a rhyming dictionary during drafting, Google Docs or Google Slides to compose and publish their own sonnet in Shakespearean form, and D2L - the county's chosen student online learning platform - to submit final products.
